The Apple Invites app on iPhone has received an update with two significant new features. Hosts can now more efficiently add guests manually and update their RSVP status. This new functionality ensures the guest list remains accurate, even if RSVPs are received outside the app. Additionally, the Invites app's Home Screen widget now supports the extra-large size option. This allows users more flexibility in displaying event countdowns on their home screens. The Apple Invites app, released in February 2025, simplifies event invitations for occasions like parties and showers. Creating events requires an iCloud+ subscription of at least 50GB for $0.99 per month. However, recipients can RSVP for free on any device by using an event link. This update, version 1.12.1, also includes general bug fixes and performance enhancements. The update is currently available for download in the App Store.
