Some suppliers are preparing for new iPhone orders in the second half of 2026, with component reservations extending to the iPhone 18 lineup. Technical issues with the foldable iPhone's hinge are said to be resolved, though initial shipments might be limited. A substantial production increase for the foldable is expected later in the year. While MacBooks and iPads saw price increases due to rising component costs, the iPhone 17 lineup has not yet experienced a hike. Apple may introduce higher pricing across the entire iPhone lineup with new device launches. The foldable iPhone is rumored to feature a 7.8-inch inner display and a 5.5-inch cover display, potentially launching as the "iPhone Ultra" alongside the iPhone 18 Pro models in September.
