Apple Releases New Firmware for Beats Studio Pro With Audio Sharing

Apple has released firmware version 2C301 for the Beats Studio Pro headphones, adding support for audio sharing, allowing two people to listen to audio from an iPhone or iPad. The firmware update is delivered over-the-air on iOS and Android devices. The Beats Studio Pro headphones feature Active Noise Cancellation, Personalized Spatial Audio, and improved audio quality. They use a custom Beats chip instead of an Apple audio chip, providing feature parity between iOS and Android. The firmware update process requires the headphones to be charging and in Bluetooth range of an iOS or macOS device connected to Wi-Fi. On Android devices, users must use the Beats app and connect the device to power. Specific details about other changes or improvements included in the firmware update have not been disclosed by Apple.
