Apple has updated its experimental browser, Safari Technology Preview, initially launched in March 2016. This browser allows users to test upcoming features planned for future Safari releases. Version 248 includes numerous fixes and updates across various web technologies. These improvements encompass areas like Accessibility, CSS, Editing, and JavaScript. Other updates address Forms, Images, Media, Navigation, and Networking. Rendering, SVG, Scrolling, and Security also received attention. Furthermore, enhancements were made to Storage, Web API, Web Inspector, WebDriver, and WebRTC. The update is compatible with macOS Tahoe and the latest macOS Golden Gate. Users can access the update via Software Update in System Preferences or System Settings. Apple encourages feedback from developers and users on its browser development. Safari Technology Preview runs alongside the standard Safari browser and doesn't require a developer account.
