Apple Says Final Intel MacBook Air and Apple Watch Series 5 Now 'Vintage'

Apple has added several products to its vintage products list, indicating they are no longer actively sold. This update includes the last Intel-powered 13-inch MacBook Air released in 2020. The iPhone 11 Pro joins the iPhone 11 Pro Max, previously added, to the vintage list. The iPad Air 3 (Cellular models), and various Apple Watch Series 5 models, including different materials and editions, are also now vintage. These products became vintage after five years since they were last sold by Apple. Vintage devices may still be eligible for repairs by Apple or authorized providers, if parts are available. Additionally, Apple moved special-edition Beats Solo3 Wireless headphones to the obsolete list. Obsolete products are generally no longer eligible for hardware service, although Mac laptops have a potential extended battery repair period.
