Apple Seeds Third Betas of iOS 26.4 and iPadOS 26.4 to Developers

Apple released the third beta versions of iOS 26.4 and iPadOS 26.4 to developers for testing. These updates follow a week after the second beta release. Developers can access the betas through the Software Update section in their device's Settings. iOS 26.4 and iPadOS 26.4 introduce several new features, despite the lack of new Siri capabilities in the first beta. A significant addition is the Playlist Playground in Apple Music, enabling song generation based on text prompts. The update also includes a Concerts Near You feature and redesigned album/playlist visuals. Apple Podcasts will gain native video podcasting support for easier content creation and distribution. End-to-end encryption for RCS is being tested, enhancing security for text conversations between Android and iPhones. While no new emojis were present initially, they are expected in later betas. Other features include Stolen Device Protection, an ambient music widget, and new sleep app metrics.
