Apple has released a second release candidate for watchOS 27.2, four days after the initial release. This update is now available to registered developers and public beta testers. The primary focus of watchOS 27.2 is significant enhancements to Siri AI. These improvements include better context retention from previous interactions and the ability to access a broader range of personal information. Siri AI can now recall past conversations, allowing users to follow up on previous recommendations. It can also draw information from sources like Messages, Calendar, voicemails, and phone browsing history. A new "Excluded Apps" feature allows users to control which apps Siri can access. Responses from Siri AI on the Apple Watch are now faster. Support for Siri AI has been expanded to include French, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, and Spanish. However, Siri AI is not available in the European Union or mainland China. The official launch of watchOS 27.2 is anticipated for next week.
