Are paid system tools like File Pilot really worth the money on Windows 11?
Lately, I’ve been seeing more and more paid software that serves as alternatives to Windows’ built-in tools—such as File Pilot and some new task manager alternatives, among others.
As a developer, I understand that developing these tools is no easy feat, but I’m genuinely curious: since the default apps are perfectly adequate, why do people still choose to pay for them? I’m not passing judgment; I’m just very interested in the market for these kinds of products.
