Arlo updates its security system to caption what cameras see and detect gunshots

The updated system also allows for more efficient video searching using keywords, descriptions, or time ranges. Arlo is competing with similar features offered by Google's Nest Aware and Amazon's Ring. Arlo's new update distinguishes itself by focusing on specific features that are not found in its competitors' services. The Arlo Secure 6 features will be available to existing Arlo Secure plan subscribers this month. Arlo offers two main subscription tiers: a Plus plan and a Premium plan, with varying costs based on the number of cameras used.
