Asynchronous Design Critique: Giving Feedback

Feedback, a crucial soft skill, enhances design quality and individual growth. To give effective feedback, focus on clear content, addressing the "What, Where, Why, How?" aspects. Use the question approach to elicit critical thinking, while considering the perspective of the feedback (user, expert, business, etc.). Respectful and grounded feedback promotes receptivity, while timing, attitude, and form ensure the message is received positively. In written feedback, have a trusted individual review it to minimize bias. Avoid beating around the bush and provide constructive criticism even when challenging. Lastly, remember that feedback is a skill that can be developed through practice and self-reflection.
