Aukey's MagFusion Ark Brings 25W Qi2.2 Charging With Detachable Power Bank Spheres
Aukey has unveiled the MagFusion Ark, a modular wireless charger featuring the faster Qi2.2 specification. This charger can deliver up to 25W to compatible iPhones, matching Apple's MagSafe speeds. Qi2.2 enables magnetic attachment and increased charging speeds compared to older Qi standards. The MagFusion Ark boasts a 6-in-1 design with a base capable of charging three devices simultaneously. It also includes three detachable power bank spheres, bringing the total charging points to six. All six charging spots support the enhanced Qi2.2 speeds, making it suitable for households with multiple users. The power bank spheres can recharge from the base while also charging connected devices. When detached, each sphere acts as a 6,700mAh power bank. These spheres also feature a 30W USB-C port for bidirectional charging and an active cooling system to prevent overheating. Additionally, the spheres can function as magnetic stands for convenient viewing. While the flagship model includes the base and three spheres, smaller configurations and individual spheres will also be available. Pricing details are yet to be announced, with a launch expected in the first quarter of 2026. Apple's iOS 26 will incorporate Qi2.2 support, and future iPhone 17 models are anticipated to feature this technology.
