AWS has announced increased quotas for AWS Client VPN, allowing for more routes and authorization rules. The new quotas expand routes per target network association to 100 and authorization rules per endpoint to 200. This is an increase from the previous default quotas of 10 routes per association and 50 authorization rules per endpoint. AWS Client VPN enables secure management of network routing and access control for VPN connections. The quota increase provides greater flexibility and control over network traffic flows. Enterprises with distributed architectures can now define specific routing paths for multiple subnets across different environments. The new quotas are default configurations and can be adjusted to a higher limit if needed. These default quotas are automatically applied to all new and existing Client VPN endpoints. This enhancement is available at no additional cost in all AWS Regions where AWS Client VPN is generally available. Users can learn more about the updated quotas and AWS Client VPN through the AWS Client VPN quotas page, product page, and documentation.
