AWS Deadline Cloud now offers automated job attachments output downloads. This new functionality is integrated into the Deadline Cloud client. AWS Deadline Cloud is a managed service designed to streamline render management for visual effects and graphics creation. The job attachments feature facilitates asset synchronization between workstations and render farm workers. Assets are uploaded to Amazon S3 for this purpose. The service also automatically identifies and stores output files generated during task execution back to S3. The updated client command allows for downloading all outputs from completed jobs in a specified queue. This download process can be automated by scheduling the command using tools like cron or task scheduler. Outputs are downloaded to local paths designated during job creation for review. This enhancement simplifies the workflow for users of AWS Deadline Cloud.
