Beats by Apple has released its first charging cables, available in USB-C to USB-C, USB-A to USB-C, and USB-C to Lightning configurations. Cables come in 1.5-meter and 20-centimeter lengths, priced at $18.99 individually. Longer cables are offered in multiple colors, while shorter cables are only available in black. Two-packs of the longer USB-C cables are also available for $34.99. The cables feature a durable woven design and varying charging speeds. USB-C to USB-C supports up to 60 watts, while USB-A to USB-C supports up to 15 watts. Data transfer is limited to USB 2.0 speeds. A promotional ad featuring the "Pill People" accompanies the launch. The cables are available for online purchase now and in stores starting April 17th in the United States. This launch expands Beats' product line beyond headphones and cases.
