Bruleed fruit on a cheesecake

I want to top a cheesecake with bruleed bananas but the order of operations has me questioning my process. Should I Coat the slices in sugar Put on cheesecake, bake Brulee? or will the oven suffice? Or * Add bananas to cheesecake * Sift sugar over whole surface * Bake then torch Or * Bananas in sugar * Torch * Add to cheesecake (before/after baking?)
