Can pulverized/powdered bacon go bad quick?

I plan on making a bacon hot sauce soon. I’d like to use - get this - bacon inside of it! The only issue is I don’t want large bacon bits because I know that would greatly reduce the shelf life of my sauce. I plan on pulverizing the bacon to the best of my ability, but I don’t know if it’s really possible to make a true “powder” out of it. Regardless - if I actually can manage this, would it still go bad relatively quick in the sauce? I apologize if this is a question with an obvious answer. I’ve never done anything like this before.
