Can you roast carrots and potatoes at the same time?

I want to roast both at the same time on a sheetpan, I plan to cut them into similar sized pieces. But my question is: do they cook at the same time, and what herbs/seasonings would be good on both vegetables? Or am I better off doing them separately. I'm pretty sure this has been done a lot since both are eaten together frequently but I was wondering if anyone had good recipes. submitted by /u/Archenic
