Changes to the Roche Enlarged Corporate Executive Committee

Roche announced Nina Schwab-Hautzinger as the new Head of Group Communications, effective February 1, 2026. She will also become a member of the enlarged Corporate Executive Committee. Schwab-Hautzinger returns to Roche from BASF, where she served as Head of Corporate Communications and Government Relations. Previously, she spent thirteen years at Roche in various communications leadership roles. She holds degrees from the University of Mannheim, the University of Waterloo, and a doctorate from the University of Zurich. CEO Thomas Schinecker emphasized the importance of clear communication for Roche's strategic goals. He also thanked Barbara Schaedler for extending her term to ensure a smooth transition. Roche, founded in 1896, is a leading biotechnology company focused on developing medicines and diagnostics. The company is committed to sustainability and aims to achieve net zero emissions by 2045.
