A denial of service vulnerability exists in the web UI of Cisco IOS Software. This vulnerability affects specific Cisco IOS Software versions. An authenticated attacker with low privileges can exploit this by sending a specially crafted URL. The improper input validation in the web UI allows for this exploit. A successful attack could force the affected device to reload. This reload causes a denial of service condition for legitimate users. Cisco has released software updates to fix this vulnerability. Unfortunately, there are no workarounds available to address the issue. A mitigation is provided, but workarounds are not. The advisory, identified as CVE-2025-20327, is part of Cisco's September 2025 security publication.
