Continuous imaging of both neuronal activity and vascular function within the central nervous system (CNS) is crucial for characterizing preclinical models of CNS disease. To accomplish this, we developed the ‘CloudScope’, a cloud-based miniaturized microscope that is capable of multicontrast imaging of brain function for at least 24 consecutive hours.
