coconut flour for conrnstarch

i'm looking to use coconut flour as a thickening agent, instead of cornstarch, in dessert and curry recipes. i know that coconut flour imparts a coconut flavor as opposed to the neutral flavor of starches, and i'm perfectly okay with that. what i need to know is is there a substitution factor or can coconut flour be used 1-for-1 when replacing cornstarch? submitted by /u/pgoyoda
