Collier d'agneau ? Received as a gift, says to stew but not sure if it's alright.

When I say gift I mean we received some free samples at work and now I'm wondering if I even have the right stuff. It says it's a "collier d'agneau pour soupe ou mijoter" so I think it's supposed to be lamb neck for stews right? But the pieces are fairly small and I'm not too sure what to do with them because the giver said to "just throw them in the slow cooker" and "you can't go wrong.
