Copy and Paste Will Not Using the Destination Formatting

The author is preparing both English and Spanish versions of a book for Amazon KDP, using Microsoft Word. The paste options available are limited to "Keep Text Only." The author has tried various settings in Word's options, but the issue persists. The problem seems to be an altered behavior since the initial creation of the Spanish document, where formatting from the destination document is not being retained, and custom justification is arising. The author is unable to prevent the changed word spacing, rendering the document mismatched to the original creation. Reviewing and applying Spanish as the primary language has not solved the issues. The author is struggling to understand why Google Translate paste operations are altering formatting. They need a solution to maintain consistent paragraph lengths and word spacing in the Spanish document.
