DaVinci Resolve 20's latest AI feature can create an entire timeline based on a script

Blackmagic Design has launched DaVinci Resolve 20, featuring over 100 new tools and improvements across its free and paid versions. A core element of the update is AI integration, with features like AI IntelliScript for timeline creation from scripts. AI Set Extender allows users to expand scenes using text prompts, simplifying tasks like reframing. Other AI-powered features include Animated Subtitles, Multicam SmartSwitch, Audio Assistant for professional audio mixing, and Music Beats detection. The update enhances Blackmagic Cloud support for improved collaboration and offers easier editing for vertical video. Quality-of-life improvements span the cut, edit, color, and fusion pages, including a new keyframe editor and Text+ tool. DaVinci Resolve Studio 20 supports Apple Immersive Video on Apple Vision Pro for immersive content creation. Color page improvements include chroma warp, while Fairlight gains audio matching features and dynamic EQ. DaVinci Resolve 20 is available as a public beta, with the free version available for download, and the Studio version priced at $295.
