Dell announces new Premium replacement for the XPS line

Dell has launched its new Dell 14 Premium and Dell 16 Premium Windows 11 laptops, which replace the XPS lineup and offer high-end features. The laptops retain the same design as their predecessors, with a simple and elegant wedge-like form and large, bezel-free displays coated with Gorilla Glass 3. The devices feature Intel Core Ultra 9 16-core CPUs, NVIDIA RTX 5070 GPUs, and up to 27 hours of battery life. The high-end models come with 3.2K and 4K 16:10 120Hz OLED displays, while the base models have 2K LCD 120Hz displays. The laptops also feature Dolby Atmos audio, quad speakers, and a universal headphone jack with head tracking. The devices are powered by Intel's latest power-efficient Core Ultra processors, which offer up to a 33 percent performance boost over previous models. The main benefit of these laptops is their boosted battery life, with up to 20 hours of Netflix streaming on the 14 Premium and 27 hours on the 16 Premium. The Premium 14 and Premium 16 differ in terms of GPU options, with the 16.3-inch model supporting NVIDIA's new RTX 5050, RTX 5060, and RTX 5070 GPUs. The laptops are now available on Dell's website, starting at $1,650 for the base 14 Premium model and $2,700 for the base 16 Premium model.
