In Reply We thank Dr Mojsov for her comments on our Viewpoint and for her contributions to the field. In our Viewpoint, we sought to provide a more complete chronology of events surrounding the discoveries related to GLP-1. As we noted, we were working in the Habener laboratory at MGH from 1984 to 1988, and our observations on GLP-1–related discoveries, timelines of the experiments, and key contributions are somewhat different than those stated by Mojsov, who worked in another laboratory in the Peptide Chemistry Unit within the Endocrine Division at MGH.
