DJI Lito 1 and Lito X1 drone review: High-quality aerial video at its most affordable

DJI introduces the Lito series, budget-friendly drones under $400 designed to replace the Mini series but with advanced features like LiDAR. The Lito models, the Lito 1 and Lito X1, are lightweight, ideal for beginners, and feature obstacle avoidance. The X1 boasts internal storage and a LiDAR sensor for enhanced tracking accuracy, setting it apart. Both drones offer long flight times and reliable video transmission through DJI's Occusync 4 system. The drones deliver decent performance with speeds up to 40 mph, allowing for tracking of moving subjects. The Lito X1's LiDAR provides superior obstacle avoidance, especially in low light. The Lito X1 significantly surpasses the Lito 1 in video quality due to its superior sensor, while both offer great stabilization. The Lito X1 can be used professionally. Both models include features like ActiveTrack and QuickShots, making them suitable for content creation. The Lito series is best for outdoor use which sets them apart from the Neo 2 and Flip which are better suited for indoor use. While both drones offer great value, the Lito X1 stands out mainly due to its higher video quality, thanks to its sensor. The devices are currently available in the UK and EU.
