Do opened sesame seeds last longer in the fridge?

I opened a pack of sesame seeds that say "consume soon after opening" but it's a whole bag... I'm not gonna use it all any time soon. If I put it in a jar and store it in the fridge, how long will that preserve them for? submitted by /u/edawn28
