Dreame's X50 robot vacuum can climb stairs

Dreame's X50 robot vacuum, priced at $1699, is debuting in the US at CES 2025. A key feature is its ability to climb small stairs up to 2.4 inches high using a motorized arm. This "ProLeap System" helps it overcome obstacles that hinder other robot vacuums. The X50 can navigate under furniture and identify various objects to avoid collisions. It also includes a hot water mop and a specialized hair-resistant brush. Pre-orders begin January 7th, offering a two-year warranty and extra cleaning kit. The official sale starts February 14th on Amazon and Dreame's website. The X50 aims to improve robot vacuum accessibility for various home layouts. While impressive, it cannot climb standard staircases. Its advanced features justify the higher price point compared to standard models.
