DuckDuckGo's subscription now offers some of the latest chatbots from OpenAI and Anthropic
DuckDuckGo's Duck.ai feature, offering AI chatbots, is now integrated into its subscription service. The subscription, previously called Privacy Pro, remains at $10 monthly or $100 annually. It includes a VPN, data removal services, and identity protection. Access to advanced AI models from OpenAI, Anthropic, and Meta is now a key benefit. These models include GPT-4o, GPT-5, Sonnet 4.0, and Llama 4 Maverick. User privacy is maintained; data is anonymized and not used for training. A free, basic version of Duck.ai remains available. Users can disable AI features if desired. DuckDuckGo plans to explore higher subscription tiers with more advanced AI models in the future. The rebranded subscription offers enhanced AI capabilities while retaining its privacy focus.
