Dyson has introduced its first handheld fan, the HushJet Mini Cool, utilizing their proprietary HushJet air projection system. This technology was previously featured in a notably quiet air purifier. The fan is engineered to produce a focused airflow reaching up to 25 meters per second, equivalent to 55 miles per hour. Its powerful brushless motor operates at speeds up to 65,000 RPM, capable of significant cooling despite its compact size. Weighing a mere 7.5 ounces, it is designed for portability. The device offers five adjustable speeds and a dedicated boost mode for enhanced cooling. Charging is convenient via USB-C, and it includes a charging stand, although it can also stand independently on a desk. A single charge provides up to six hours of operation. Priced at $100, it represents a more affordable Dyson offering but is expensive for a handheld fan. The HushJet Mini Cool will be available in three color options: grey starting tomorrow, red in May, and blue in June.
