Electronic conductivity of solid electrolytes causes physical self-discharge in all-solid-state batteries
Physical self-discharge critically limits the lifetime of all-solid-state batteries (ASSBs). Wang et al. showed that the non-negligible electronic conductivity of solid-state electrolytes can lead to substantial physical self-discharge in ASSBs.
