Fake Cases Hint at New Clear and TechWoven Colors for iPhone 18 Pro
A leaker known as DuanRui has shared images and videos of purported iPhone 18 Pro Max cases. While these specific cases are counterfeit, they may offer an early preview of genuine Apple accessory color options. Such fake accessories frequently appear in China before official Apple announcements. Case makers often use leaked dimensions and CAD files to prepare for launch day. These early releases, though sometimes creatively divergent, can indicate upcoming official accessories. One video displays a clear case in a light blue tint, featuring an opaque square for MagSafe magnets. This design element was introduced last year and was criticized by some. The light blue color aligns with rumors of a Light Blue iPhone 18 Pro finish. The TechWoven cases shown come in multiple colors, including cherry red, which could match a rumored "Dark Cherry" iPhone 18 Pro. Existing iPhone 17 Pro TechWoven cases are available in fewer colors. The iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max, along with the foldable iPhone Ultra, are expected to be announced in September.
