In a multicenter, phase 2 trial, patients with treatment-naive locally advanced unresectable or metastatic triple-negative breast cancer were treated with the PD-1/vascular endothelial growth factor bispecific antibody ivonescimab plus chemotherapy, resulting in encouraging preliminary objective response rates, which support further testing in a large, randomized, phase 3 trial.
