Apple is preparing large installations resembling iPhone Duo displays outside its Fifth Avenue store in New York. These structures, currently covered, are situated on the plaza beside the iconic glass cube. The company is also significantly boosting its in-store retail efforts for the iPhone Duo's launch. The Fifth Avenue store will feature over 150 units for demonstrations and displays, far exceeding the usual allocation for other locations. New display methods will highlight the device's foldable design, including a fixture that shows its opening and closing action. A MagSafe stand will also allow for a visual comparison between the unfolded iPhone Duo and regular iPhones. This follows previous launch decorations for the iPhone 18 Pro, which featured color changes to the cube. The iPhone Duo officially goes on sale this Friday, October 23. Apple anticipates limited walk-in availability in the US and other regions, with launch-day stock expected to sell out rapidly. Customers in mainland China, France, Japan, and elsewhere will need to reserve pick-up times online.
