Google rolls out its most powerful Gemini model yet

Google's most advanced reasoning model, Deep Think, is now available to Google AI Ultra subscribers. Initially showcased at Google I/O, it's a refined version of a model that won a gold medal at the International Mathematical Olympiad. The public version, achieving a bronze-medal equivalent, is optimized for speed and everyday use. The gold-medal model remains under further research. Deep Think employs parallel thinking techniques, processing multiple ideas concurrently. It's multi-modal, accepting text, images, and audio input. Benchmark tests showed Deep Think outperforming competitors like OpenAI's o3 and xAI's Grok 4. Access is limited to the $250/month AI Ultra subscription. Users have a daily prompt limit, though the exact number is undisclosed. Deep Think is accessible through the Gemini app.
