Google Slides is introducing improvements to object resizing and selection. Users can now proportionally scale multiple selected objects together. This feature ensures consistent scaling of fonts, borders, and effects, preserving visual integrity. The update simplifies the process of adjusting numerous elements simultaneously. Enhanced object selection is also included, with outlines appearing upon hovering over overlapping objects. This allows for easier identification and selection of individual layered objects. These changes are designed to improve the efficiency of slide design and editing. The update impacts all end-users of Google Slides across different Workspace tiers. Proportional scaling applies when using corner handles or format options. The new features will be available in edit mode, not during presentations. Rollout will be gradual for all users starting in late March and early April. This update is available to all Google Workspace customers, individual subscribers, and personal Google account users.
