Google has introduced a new AI Ultra plan that provides unlimited access to its advanced machine learning features, making it $50 more expensive than similar plans from OpenAI and Anthropic. For $250 per month, subscribers will get early access to new models like Veo 3 and unlimited usage of features like Flow and Deep Research. In the coming weeks, AI Ultra users will also get access to Deep Think, Project Mariner, and Gemini within Chrome. The high cost is partly justified by the inclusion of YouTube Premium and 30TB of cloud storage across Google Photos, Drive, and Gmail. A YouTube Premium subscription alone would cost $14 per month, and Google doesn't offer 30TB of cloud storage separately. To incentivize sign-ups, Google is offering 50 percent off the first three months for new subscribers. Meanwhile, Google is revamping its existing AI Premium plan, now called Google AI Pro, which includes the Flow app and early access to Gemini in Chrome. The new benefits will initially be available to US subscribers, with other countries to follow. The revamped Google AI Pro plan will provide more benefits than before, making it a more attractive option for users. Overall, Google's new AI plans aim to provide users with advanced machine learning features and additional perks.
