Google's AI notebook can generate a podcast about your notes

Google's NotebookLM research tool now features Audio Overview, which converts uploaded documents into podcast-style discussions between AI hosts. The hosts summarize key points, explore connections between topics, and engage in banter. The AI voices sound human-like, but limitations include only speaking English, occasional inaccuracies, and the inability to interrupt hosts. NotebookLM was initially launched in 2023 as a digital assistant for document analysis and has since been upgraded to Gemini 1.5 Pro, enhancing its capabilities and expanding its reach to over 200 countries and territories. Audio Overview is still experimental and has limitations, but Google believes it can enhance learning and comprehension for those who prefer auditory information.
