Amazon SageMaker JumpStart now offers three new foundation models: BM's granite-speech-4.1-2b, Kakao's kanana-2-30b-a3b-instruct, and the OpenFold Consortium's OpenFold3. These models enhance the AI capabilities available to AWS customers. Granite-speech-4.1-2b is designed for efficient multilingual automatic speech recognition and translation. It supports several languages and achieves a low word error rate with real-time processing. Kanana-2-30b-a3b-instruct specializes in bilingual Korean-English instruction following and agentic AI. This model utilizes a Mixture-of-Experts architecture for improved throughput and supports long context lengths. It is built to act as a proactive AI collaborator. OpenFold3 offers all-atom biomolecular complex structure prediction for various molecules. Developed by researchers at Columbia University, it models multi-chain complexes and heterogeneous interactions. This capability is valuable for drug design and scientific research. Customers can easily deploy these models through SageMaker JumpStart with minimal effort. Access to these models is available via the SageMaker console or the SageMaker Python SDK.
