This allows users to choose Claude Sonnet 4.5 alongside other top models for an improved GitLab Duo experience. The model excels in tool orchestration, context editing, and domain-specific tasks, demonstrating high performance on SWE-bench Verified. Developers can leverage Claude Sonnet 4.5 for sharper insights and deeper context in their coding work. The GitLab Duo Agent Platform enhances Claude Sonnet 4.5 by orchestrating agents and connecting them to internal systems across the software lifecycle. This integration offers faster development, more accurate results, and enhanced organizational coverage within the familiar GitLab workflow. Claude Sonnet 4.5 is currently available for Agentic Chat on GitLab.com, with IDE support coming soon. GitLab Duo Pro and Enterprise customers can access this new model immediately.
