Apps seamlessly adapt to the foldable form factor, with features like a new vertical dock and side-based controls for one-handed use. Users can run two apps side-by-side, though resizing options are not available. The iPhone Duo functions when fully open, closed, or half-folded, with iOS adapting content and audio based on the device's orientation. StandBy mode operates even without charging, displaying widgets and information in a tent orientation. The camera system includes a 48MP Fusion Main and a 48MP Ultra Wide, but lacks a Telephoto lens. Unique camera features include 4K Dolby Vision time lapses, AI-powered Smart Take, and Duo Preview for group photos. The device is powered by the A20 Pro chip and a new, faster C2 modem supporting mmWave 5G. Pre-orders begin October 16th for devices shipping October 23rd.
