Happy birthday, David Bowie

David Bowie, the English singer, songwriter and everything else, would have been 79 today. We still need heroes. His daughter, Lexi Jones, posted a tribute: "Da big 79 today. Happy birthday pops, miss ya." A treat: Bowie's excellent one-sentence impersonation of Mick Jagger, recalling the time he responded to a heckler at the Brixton Academy in 1963, before the Stones were big.
