A new vulnerability in Intel and AMD CPUs, known as Hertzbleed, has been discovered, allowing hackers to steal encryption keys. An Iranian spear-phishing campaign targeted former Israeli and US high-ranking officials. Microsoft released its June 2022 Patch Tuesday, fixing one zero-day and 55 flaws, including the actively exploited 'Follina' vulnerability. Adobe also released security updates for 46 flaws. Russia is taking control of Ukraine's internet, while a Belarusian hacktivist group released wiretapped audio of the Russian embassy. LockBit ransomware claimed to have compromised Mandiant, but there is no evidence supporting this claim, and it may be a PR move.
