A friend gifted me with a box of Carabineros shrimp, I was thinking of making a white fish dish with a carabinero head sauce emulsion. I know most people use a fine mesh sieve to strain them, and high end restaurants uses those fancy screw presses. I thought that looks somewhat similar to a masticating juicer, I wonder if I take off the silicone mixer, would using it to extract all the shrimp head juices be viable? The shells would probably be harsh on the filter, so what if I use a hand blender first to turn it into a slurry, and put those in the masticating juicer? submitted by /u/Street_Product_4450
