Long story short, I ordered some Chinese takeout, one of the meals was "Crispy pork in orange sauce". Come to find out nobody in the household can process sweet and salty meals to this extent. Nothing wrong with the meal, just not our cup of tea, will know better when ordering in the future. There is still substantial amount of meat in there and I would be dishonoring my late grandma if I throw all of that away... IS IT POSSIBLE and how to "fix" this meal? My first and only dumb idea is to try to wash away the sauce, but is it possible to adjust it somehow with some spices, to not be so sweet (or ideally not sweet at all)? Besides the pork and the sauce, there is a good amount of sweet corn and peas in the meal as well, if that makes any difference. I understand that this may lean towards brainstorming area, so I'll try to dumb down the question to: "HOW TO MAKE SWEET ORANGE SAUCE NOT SWEET?" Any help welcome submitted by /u/Livid-Oil395
