Hi everyone, I'm fairly new here and don't have much experience with photo editing in general. I recently took a picture that I really like, but the background is cluttered and distracting, and I'd love to have just the main subject standing out on its own, ideally with a transparent or plain background so I can use it for a project I'm working on. I've tried looking up a few tutorials on how to remove background from picture, but most of them assume a level of familiarity I just don't have yet, and I keep getting confused about which approach actually works well for clean edges. What's the general process for cleanly separating a subject from its background?
