Introducing updates to sources for NotebookLM and NotebookLM Plus

NotebookLM is introducing new features to enhance user experience related to sources. Users can now discover related sources from the web and add them to notebooks. NotebookLM now supports multimodal PDFs, understanding text, images, and graphs within them. NotebookLM and NotebookLM Plus are available in over 180 regions and support 35+ languages. Audio Overviews are currently only available in English. Uploads and queries are not used to train models without permission, ensuring data privacy. Users control access to notebooks and can set granular permissions. The rollout will begin on April 2, 2025, with a gradual rollout of up to 15 days. These features are available to NotebookLM and NotebookLM Plus users with specific Google Workspace editions. Gemini Business and Enterprise add-ons will no longer be offered after January 15, 2025.
