The second new feature enables users to reveal the Apple TV's top shelf carousel. This is done by dragging down from the top of the virtual trackpad. The top shelf displays watch list content and shows that have been partially watched. These features were discovered by MacRumors and shared on X. These updates may suggest upcoming improvements for the next-generation Apple TV 4K. The virtual remote can also be accessed from the iPhone's Home Screen again in iOS 27.
