Early benchmark results for the unconfirmed A20 Pro chip have surfaced on Geekbench. These results suggest a significant performance increase over the A19 Pro. Single-core performance is expected to be 21% to 23% faster. Multi-core performance shows an even greater leap, with gains of 27% to 28%. The benchmarks indicate a six-core CPU operating at approximately 4.93 GHz. Graphics performance also sees substantial improvements. The seven-core GPU in the A20 Pro is reportedly 38% to 40% faster than the A19 Pro's six-core GPU. These gains align with Apple's advertised performance improvements. The A20 Pro is built on a 2-nanometer process and includes improved memory bandwidth. However, these early benchmarks may not fully represent real-world sustained performance during demanding tasks.
